HANDS ACROSS THE BORDER
In keeping with the Kiwanis motto
to “Serve The Children of the World,” each year the Foundation
awards grants to Southwest District clubs to help them
with any activity that reaches across any border to
benefit children. These are generally matching grants,
designed to increase a club’s ability to support their
own international efforts. The club should have an
active role in the funded project.
The maximum grant match from the Foundation will be
$500.00.
The recipient programs
must provide an appropriate article, with pictures, for
the Kiwanis Southwest Magazine. Publicity for the project must give
credit for partial funding to the Southwest District
Kiwanis
Foundation.
