KACHINA AWARD
Similar to the Hixson Fellowship
granted by the Kiwanis International Foundation, the
Kachina Award is available from the Southwest District
Kiwanis
Foundation to be given to a member by a club or an
individual to recognize that person’s contributions to
Kiwanis, especially to the District Foundation.
The Kachina Award
consists of a Kachina medallion and ribbon to be worn by
the recipient at formal occasions, the ribbon and
medallion in a shadowbox, and a special Kachina lapel
pin.
The Kachina Award is
available for a minimum gift of $1,000; for an
additional $100, the recipient can also receive an
actual Kachina doll.
