STUDENT RECOGNITION PROGRAM
The Student Recognition Program is
designed to reward students in Southwest District
Mid-Schools and High
Schools for their self
improvement. Each month, or quarter, the most
improved student will be chosen by a faculty committee.
An annual winner will also be selected. An
additional award for the full-year winner will be an
engraved plaque.
The criteria for selection should be based on Attitude,
Behavior, School Involvement, and Civic Involvement.
Grades and Part-Time Employment should also be
considered.
The monthly Award includes a certificate, "Kiwanis
Student of the Month" bumper sticker, a meal and
recognition at the sponsoring Kiwanis Club, and a
Foundation pen.
